What are ASI's?
|
|
|
Advanced Study Institutes are two-week-long
advanced-level tutorial courses on a subject given by
lecturers
of international standing.
The purpose of this ASI
is to provide an interactive and interdisciplinary forum for novel
and advanced approaches to detection and indentification. The forum will
provide opportunities for young scientists and engineers to learn
more about these problem areas, and the vital role played by new
mathematical and scientific insights, from some of the outstanding
contributors to the state of the art.
We would like to thank our generous
sponsors.

If you are from a

from universities in NATO and Eastern European countries. We
will give preference to those with recently awarded PhD.
degrees and others who do not have a realistic possibility of
support from other sources.

Besides the 16 principal lecturers,
we must strictly limit the number of participants to 85. We
can accommodate only a few from outside of
NATO/Eastern

of the Institute.
